This full color card was issued 77 years ago by John Player & Sons. Bright white background makes this card lovely to frame. This beautiful card is from a set of 50 cards entitled "Dogs (Full Length)" to put in an album that was available at the time. The card was given as a free premium and was inserted into a packet of 10 Players cigarettes. The front of the card shows a picture of the dog painted by the artist Arthur Wardle with his signature on the front, while the back of the card has a brief description of the breed. The card measures 2 5/8" x 1 3/8".
