This full color card was issued 77 years ago by John Player & Sons. This beautiful card is from a set of 50 cards entitled "Dogs - Transfers". The card was given as a free premium and was inserted into a packet of 10 Players cigarettes. The front of the card shows a picture of the dog painted by the artist Arthur Wardle with his signature on the front, while the back has details about applying the transfer. The card measures 2 5/8" x 1 3/8".
